Food Packs
During the school year
This is mainly focused during the school year. For students that have trouble with food at home. If you want to volunteer or have more questions that can’t be answered on our website, feel free to contact us on Facebook, email us, or give us a call!
Why do we do this?
FCC has been doing food packs for over 10 years now. It has been beneficial to the intended students and we are always looking for volunteers. Some kids don’t have the ability to get 3 meals at home when they’re not at school. We try and help those kids get all they need in the food packs they take home.
What’s in the food packs?
We keep easily preservable, no refrigerator needed food for students to take home over the weekend and holiday breaks.
Where do they go?
The food packs are made at First Christian Church, then delivered to Poteau Public Schools to be directly delivered to the students on our food pack list.
