Our Mission
To provide age-appropriate learning activities for children in a Christian environment, enabling each child to develop to their own potential.
We will provide a support system to both families and personnel. We maintain high standards, serve as positive role models, and foster high morale. We encourage children in areas of exploration, emotional growth, imagination, and cognitive development. We work to achieve and maintain the Department of Human Services standards and STAR regulations. We provide a center that serves our children, families, personnel, and community well.
Our Vision
The vision of First Christian Church Childcare Center is to provide a Christian environment where age-appropriate activities are offered to children, and maintain open communication with families and support personnel. We also seek to provide connection between our center, our families, and our community.

Infant Care
(6 weeks +)
We offer full-time care for all of our programs, therefore children may attend any number or combination of days per week, as needed, without prior scheduling.
Drop-off begins at 7:30am.
Pick-up ends at 5:30pm.
Children are offered age appropriate nutritious meals and snacks.
Children are not required to be potty trained to attend.
Toddler Program
(2-3 year old)
The Toddler Program offers an introduction to socialization and an opportunity to learn through play. Children are grouped into classes based upon age.
Typical Toddler Program Schedule:
Breakfast, classroom time, nap snack, followed by play time
Children are offered nutritious meals and snacks.
Preschool Readiness
(3-5 year old)
This program introduces children to developmentally-appropriate academics such as letters, numbers, Bible stories, and science.
The goal of this program is to prepare the children for kindergarten. That is why we focus on social emotional growth, adaptability, communication, and independence in addition to basic academics...while also having lots of time for play!
Children are offered nutritious meals and snacks.
After School
(Up to 6 years old)
The After School Program is a five day per week schedule.
Drop-off is coordinated with the busses from the elementary school or parent drop off.

About Our Team
Dasha Maynor – Director
With over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, Dasha has led First Christian Church Childcare Center since 2011. She is passionate about providing a safe, faith-based environment where children can grow, and she is currently pursuing her degree in Child Development to further her mission of serving children and families with excellence.
Autism Training
Our staff is trained and experienced in supporting children with autism, providing patience, understanding, and individualized care. Staff also receive ongoing autism training to better support individual needs.
Safe & Caring Staff
Our staff is CPR-certified, background-checked, and required to complete 20 hours of child development training each year.
